Banana Bread Recipe
Banana Bread is one of my favorite treats to make! Especially with the fall season here and the weather slowly starts to drop here in Texas, a fresh loaf of banana bread is the best to come home to. The recipe takes a little over an hour to mix your ingrdients and bake.
Small note: I do use an electric mixer to make this recipe, but if you do not have one that is okay! You can always use a hand mixer or just use a whisk and hand mix it with that. Another note is that my bread pan is 9×5. I don’t know how much it matter if you use a different size, but I have always found this pan to work best for me.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegitable oil
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 bananas (I like mine to be ripped)
- 1/2 chopped wallnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Set your oven to 325 degrees
- In a seperate bowl mix together your flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside for later.
- In your electric mixer bowl (or a different bowl if you are hand mixing) add in your egg, oil, and sugar. Mix until combined.
- Once combined then add in your dry ingrdeints slowly. (I like to just add little bits and a time a let mix until its completly mixed in.)
- Now add in your milk, vanilla. Then add in your bananas while mixing at a slow medium speed.
- Scrape down the sides and make sure everything is mixed together. If you are adding walnuts add them now and mix them in with a speatula.
- Pour your mixuture into your breadpan and cook for 55-70 minutes.
- Once cooked through, let the bread cool down for 15 minutes before taking it out of the pan and enjoy!
